On behalf of the organizing committee and board members, I am pleased to welcome all the participants to the 8th Japanese Society of Medical Oncology annual meeting in Tokyo, on March 18-19th, 2010.
We are preparing and welcoming to Japan and attending for this meeting. Since board members' meeting, we are going to prepare in English as well as audience to 3,000 members from over 7500. Main theme at this time is Facilitaion of standard care and globalization. We are moderating several joint symposia together with ASCO, ESMO, Japanese Cancer Association, and Japanese Society of Hematology. And we are planning to have a joint session with Japanese Association of Pharmaceutical Medicine. We also plan to have over eight corporate seminars. We introduce an English session for oral presentation, poster presentation and so on. At least even Japanese investigators will prepare abstract and Powerpoint presentation in English that makes non-Japanese investigators understand easier.
As an extra program, I am also preparing APOS (Asian Pacific Oncology Summit) sponsored by Pfizer, which invites several famous medical oncologists on March 20th and 21st at the same location as JSMO meeting as mentioned above. As a key lecture, we asked Professor Mano H, Jichi Medical University, he accepted our invitation and will be able to talk about ALK.
Please join us and enjoy JSMO and Tokyo.
